Admissibility of candidates

The purpose of the Ritual is to offer candidates the opportunity to obligate themselves as per the terms defined and traditionally preserved since 1925. The Ritual, in principle, addresses the new graduates of a bachelor's degree in engineering from a Canadian university, and those who are at the point of completing their studies. However, any candidate answering the criteria is eligible for the obligation (see Admissibility criteria). Canadian citizenship is not compulsory and the engineering education does not have to have been taken at a Canadian institution.

This opportunity is thus offered to new graduates as well as engineers already practising.

The Obligation is not compulsory, but results from the candidate’s own and personal choice.
